Dehu Road: On Tuesday (the 28th), Seth H. A. Barlota Memorial Wisdom English Medium High School (run by the South Indian Education Society in Kivale-Vikasnagar) and the Dehu Road Police Station jointly organized a session to guide students on how to stay away from drugs and to educate them about the adverse effects of substance abuse.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Pravin More, Senior Police Inspector Vikram Bansode, Police Sub-Inspector Akshay Jadhav, and Police Constables Prashant Wable and Kishore Pardeshi, among others, were present at the event.
Pravin More briefed the students about the "Say No to Drugs" campaign, and the students took an anti-drug pledge. The program's success was facilitated by the guidance of the institution's President Jayashankar Jaysing, Headmistress Gayatri Dhamnekar, and Sherin Kurian. Non-teaching staff members Anant Dhobale and Shailesh Mule assisted with the event. Student representatives Aija Tamboli and Kartik Kanake expressed their views against drug abuse. The program was anchored by school teacher Radhika Bakshi.
